The vibratory scrap conveyors are ideal for the low profile trays required to remove scrap from the underside of press tool.

The scrap removal from the underside of press tools has been a problem for many years.

Presses designed with large daylights to accommodate steep gravity fed scrap chutes. Tools manufactured with voids under the meat of the press tool to allow belt conveyors to pass. These voids made the tools weak and so tools needed strengthening in other areas to provide the robustness required in a 10,000kg press.

Along came the friction transporter which filled a hole in the market for a small actuator whose scrap tray/chute could be located snugly under the press tool. These were expensive and failed if clean air was not provided. These were sometimes classes as a consumable item.

The Electro/Mechanical vibratory scrap conveyor or friction transporter as it is sometimes known is a more robust unit than that of the pneumatic friction transporter.

Rather than employ many pneumatic friction transporters in one tool, it is now possible to locate the Premitec vibratory scrap conveyor at the rear of the press and using the clamping beam which travels the length of the press bed, attach quick release scrap tray to the beam. This enables several trays or one large tray to be used on many tools.

This makes the Robust Vibratory Scrap Conveyor from Premitec extremely competitive and cost effective.
